Authorities believe the fire to have been accidental but the cause remains under investigation. The incident also resulted in severe traffic congestion on routes near the airport.
Lingering flight disruptions are likely at least through the evening of Oct. 11. Heavy congestion and delays on main access roads serving LTN are also possible.
