Rail disruptions continue across Scotland as of the afternoon of Oct. 9 as a result of lingering flooding across the eastern Highlands. ScotRail, the Scottish regional and commuter rail operator, reports ongoing delays of up to six hours between Edinburgh and Inverness, Glasgow and Inverness, and Glasgow and Aberdeen. Additionally, all trains between Inverness and Perth scheduled for Oct. 9 are canceled.
Delays will likely continue into the morning of Oct. 10. Knock-on rail disruptions are possible across Scotland.
