Authorities at London Gatwick Airport (LGW) have announced further flight cancelations, through Oct. 15. On Oct. 2, LGW announced an extension of the limit of 800 flights per day to Oct. 15, due to staff shortages. The cap has impacted three percent of flights in recent days. Authorities predict around 150 flights will be canceled.

The flight limit will lead to further cancelations. Delays and disruptions to air operations are also likely. A further extension of the cap is possible.
