The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has played a significant role in the ongoing conflict against Taliban forces since March 2022. Thee have been intermittent reports of the group collaboring with the Northern Resistance Front (NRF) led by Ahmad Massoud in specific regions. The AFF has primarily focused its activities in remote areas by targeting Taliban security forces. In recent months, the group has claimed some targeted attacks on Taliban forces in some major urban centers, such as Kabul.
