Authorities are maintaining heightened security after an explosion in Kabul's Dasht-e-Barchi area late Nov. 7; the blast left at least seven people dead and 20 others wounded. Taliban forces have confirmed that a blast occurred in a passenger bus. The exact cause of the blast remains unclear; however, it was likely caused by a bomb.
