Disruptions likely amid protest march along Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver, B.C., Canada, on the afternoon of Nov. 3.
Activists affiliated with the Drug User Liberation Front (DULF) protest marching along E Hastings Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the afternoon of Nov. 3. to denounce the recent arrest of DULF members. Participants plan to march to Victory Square.
Transport disruptions are likely around the protest area. Authorities will certainly increase security along Hastings and Mains Streets and near Victory Square. Although the demonstration should remain peaceful, clashes between police and demonstrators cannot be ruled out, especially if authorities try to remove protesters forcibly.
Avoid all protests as a precaution. Consider taking alternative routes and allow additional time to reach your destination if operating near downtown Vancouver through at least the evening of Nov. 3.
