Germany: Flight operations suspended at Hamburg Airport as police respond to security incident late Nov. 4

Authorities at Hamburg Airport (HAM) have suspended all flight operations late Nov. 4 as police respond to a security incident at the facility. While the nature of the incident as yet remains unclear, preliminary reports suggest that an armed man drove a vehicle onto the tarmac. Hamburg Police have deployed a large number of officers to the scene and are handling the incident as a hostage situation.
