Authorities have announced road closures and traffic diversions 12:00-18:00 Nov. 27. This comes ahead of the '2024 Peaceful Election Declaration' event, which will be held at the General Elections Commission (Komisi Pemilihan Umum, KPU) in Jakarta 14:00-17:30 Nov. 27. Access to Jalan Imam Bonjol will also be restricted, particularly around the KPU building. Organizers estimate that over 65,000 people could attend the event.

A heightened security presence is likely in the affected area. Localized transport disruptions are probable until at least late Nov. 27. Authorities will likely move quickly to disperse any demonstrations that materialize. Scuffles between protesters and police are possible, especially if participants are overly disruptive.
