Authorities have increased security and deployed 1,318 security personnel to the General Elections Commission (Komisi Pemilihan Umum, KPU) as of the afternoon of Nov. 14. Presidential and vice-presidential candidates will be drawing their candidacy numbers for the 2024 elections at the commission from 18:30 Nov. 14. Road closures are also in place on Jalan Imam Bonjol in front of the KPU building. Supporters of the candidates could hold rallies near the event venue, although no specific details are available.
