Village officials, representing eight organizations, plan to protest in front of the House of Representatives in Jakarta Nov. 23. The start time of the action is unclear; however, authorities are enacting road closures on Jalan Gatot Subroto 08:00-18:00 due to the demonstration. The purpose of the action is to demand the House of Representatives ratify the revision to Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. Organizers expect around 1,000 activists to join the demonstration.
