Officials report power outages in several areas nationwide as of the evening of Nov. 11. The cause of the outage is unclear. The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) is working to restore power. It is unknown how long a complete electrical service restoration will take.

Commercial and communications disruptions are possible until technicians fully restore electrical service in areas that may still be experiencing power outages.
