Informational

Unionized public sector employees plan to stage a protest at the Serbian Government in Belgrade, Dec. 6. Labor unions representing Social Protection Workers have called for a strike and the demonstration, to demand improved pay and working conditions. Participants will gather at the Vlada Republike building at 12:00. Participation in the event is expected to range in the low thousands.

Authorities will probably deploy an increased police presence to the rally location. Localized transport disruptions, including road closures, are likely in areas impacted by protest activity.
