Authorities have issued a shelter-in-place order for people residing in the vicinity of the 800 block of North Burlington Street in Arlington, Virginia, due to a house explosion late Dec. 4. Preliminary reports indicate that police officers had attempted to execute a search warrant at the home, prompting an individual inside the house to fire several rounds of a flare gun, causing the blast.
