Mozambique: Mozambique Airlines reportedly experiencing nationwide cancelations and delays due to fuel shortages, as of Feb. 13

Mozambique's national carrier, Mozambique Airlines (LAM), has reportedly canceled or delayed national and international flights as of Feb. 13. Reports suggest this is due to a fuel shortage after LAM failed to repay outstanding payments to fuel companies, which have subsequently refused to refuel aircraft.

It is unclear when ordinary operations will resume. Disruptions to national and international flights are likely for the duration of the shortage. Increased demand for alternative flights is likely.
