Multiple explosions were reported across Balochistan Province in Pakistan on Feb. 1. A roadside bombing occurred near Spinny Road in Quetta; one person was killed. Elsewhere, a hand grenade detonated near the Dera Allah Yar Bhatti gate in Naseerabad District. Another blast was reported in Turbat's main market. The Naseerabad and Turbat blasts injured several people. As yet, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident. Officials are likely to provide updates over the coming hours.
Authorities will likely maintain an increased security presence near the incident scenes until investigations end. Officials will probably close nearby roadways, causing localized transport disruptions. Additional explosions cannot be ruled out.
