Activists plan to protest in four cities in Bulgaria on March 10. The purpose of the demonstrations is to denounce Russian President Vladimir Putin and to call for the Bulgarian government to accept more Russian dissidents as refugees. Burgas: Alyosha monument from 14:00.
Plovdiv: Central Post Office from 13:00.
Sofia: Sofia City Court from 13:00.
Varna: Central Entrance of the Sea Garden from 13:00.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near all demonstration sites. Though unlikely, confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers cannot be ruled out.
