Trinidad and Tobago: Flight disruptions at Piarco International Airport to continue through March 31 due to maintenance works

Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago suspend nighttime flights at Piarco International Airport through March 31 due to maintenance works

Informational

Piarco International Airport (POS), serving Port of Spain, will suspend nighttime flights through March 31 due to maintenance work. The Airports Authority has advised travelers to reconfirm flights and schedules with their airlines as all flight operations will be suspended 22:00-06:00 nightly for runway repairs.

The airport closure could extend beyond March 31 if damage assessments and repair works are not completed as scheduled. Lingering disruptions are possible once the airport fully resumes operations.
