The incident occurred shortly before 17:00, when an individual on a moped being pursued by law enforcement officers opened fire with a shotgun on several persons. At least two persons were wounded by the gunfire, with a third being injured when struck by the moped. Authorities did not immediately indicate a motive for the attack; however, the incident is reportedly not terror-related. Authorities have closed Clapham High Street near the intersection with the A24 and B224 motorways. The suspect remains at large and police are conducting a search of the area to apprehend him.
