Officials have reopened Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, following a report of a suspicious package in the area March 21. After deploying to the scene, security forces discovered the suspicious package, which was located in the vicinity of 1960 Union Avenue, was a suitcase with a propane tank inside of it. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Authorities earlier cordoned off Union Avenue between South Barksdale Street and Diana Street amid their emergency response, and also closed and evacuated businesses on Union Avenue near the incident site. Additionally, officials evacuated nearby Idlewild Elementary School.
