Bolivia: City workers protests in La Paz as of April 16

Unionized workers of the La Paz municipality are protesting throughout the city April 16 to demand improved salaries and benefits. Activists initially launched protests on April 15; they plan to continue protesting until April 17. They have threatened to launch a general strike on April 18, unless authorities meet their demands.
