France: Activists to protest outside Lorient town hall April 20
Inter-union activists to protet outside townhall in Lorient, France, April 20. Heightened security and disrutpions likely.
Activists affiliated with a number of unions, including Force Ouvriere (FO) and the Syndicat national des enseignements de second degré (SNES), plan to demonstrate outside the Lorient town hall at 10:30 April 20. The protest has been called in response to proposals to reform the vocational high school system.
Local authorities may deploy additional security to protest sites. Localized transport and road travel disruptions are possible around the protest site.
