Belgium: Unionized airport ground staff cancel strike previously planned to take place at Brussels South Charleroi Airport on May 2 /update 1
Unionized airport ground staff cancel strike planned at Brussels South Charleroi Airport, Belgium, on May 2; flight disruptions unlikely.
Unionized airport ground staff have canceled a 24-hour strike that they had previously planned to stage at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) in Charleroi on May 2. Workers and management reportedly reached an agreement on May 1, prompting the work stoppage's cancellation. Airport ground staff will, therefore, almost certainly operate as normal and are unlikely to cause flight disruptions at CRL on May 2.
