Activists affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party plan to protest in nine cities across Europe Nov. 24. The purpose of the demonstrations is to demand the release of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. It was not immediately clear how many participants may attend. The following demonstrations are planned:
Amsterdam, Netherlands: Dam Square 14:00-16:00.
Athens, Greece: Kotzia Square from 14:00.
Barcelona, Spain: Rambla del Raval Center from 15:00.
Bern, Switzerland: Protest at PTI office on Keltenstrasse 14:30-21:00.
Brussels, Belgium: European Parliament 10:00-12:00.
Dublin, Ireland: Embassy of Pakistan on Ailesbury Road 15:00.
Frankfurt, Germany: Boersenplatz 14:00.
Paris, France: Embassy of Pakistan on Rue Lord Byron from 15:30.

Police will likely deploy near all demonstration sites to facilitate protests. Localized transport disruptions caused by protester spread or police blockages are likely near protest sites. Low-level confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers or opposed individuals cannot be ruled out.
Avoid all affected areas as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near any protest sites. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
