A magnitude-5.2 earthquake occurred in the South Pacific Ocean near Tonga at around 01:55 April 29. The epicenter was about 153 km (95 miles) west-southwest of Houma, Tonga. The tremor occurred at a depth of about 168 km (1-4 miles), and light shaking may have been felt in parts of Tonga.
