As of June 6, transport disruptions are likely through at least mid-June following the collapse of the Rapulo Bridge on National Route 9 near Santa Ana de Yacuma, Beni Department. The collapse of the bridge has effectively cut off Santa Ana de Yacuma, including Santa Ana de Yacuma Airport (SBL), from areas east of the town.

The cause of the bridge collapse remains unknown. Authorities have stated they believe that people were killed in the collapse, though they did not immediately release any casualty figures.
