Lingering disruptions are possible along the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) expressway and Avenida Brasil in Rio de Janeiro as police maintain heightened security on June 11. Officials have cleared the roads after criminal suspects set up barricades in response to an earlier police operation in the Complexo da Mare area. Suspects also reportedly set fire to a bus on Avenida Brasil. Authorities have not reported any casualties in any of the incidents.
