Labor unions and political activists will stage demonstrations in Aubervilliers and Bobigny districts of Paris, June 28-29. Participants will denounce the planned closure of a local workers' center. Organizers plan two events:

  • June 27: Participants will gather at the Aubervilliers Mairie, from 18:00

  • June 28: Participants will gather at the Bobigny Judicial Tribunal, from 09:00.

It is likely that several hundred will take part in each event, based on previous protests in this ongoing campaign.

Authorities will likely deploy heightened security in the affected areas. Increased security measures and road closures will likely cause localized travel and business disruptions.

Avoid the protest areas as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling in Aubervilliers and Bobigny on June 27-28. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign of any security disturbance.
