All flights halted at terminals 1 and 2 until further notice at Manchester Airport, UK, June 23 following power cut. Reconfirm flights.

Warning

Flight delays and cancellations continue at Manchester Airport (MAN) June 23 following an earlier power cut that affected airport operations. Updated reports indicate regular electrical supplies have resumed. However, airport authorities have canceled all flights at terminals 1 and 2 until further notice; more than 100 departing flights have been canceled while incoming flights have been diverted. Authorities have instructed passengers booked to depart form terminals 1 and 2 not to travel to the airport. Terminal 3 remains operational but is subject to delays.

Significant residual disruptions will likely impact flight schedules through June 23, and possibly into June 24 as airlines work to clear backlogs.

Reconfirm flights if booked to travel via MAN through June 24. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed.
