Ukraine, Poland: Farmers to block Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne border crossing from 10:00 June 4 through afternoon June 6
Farmers to hold blockade protest at Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne crossing between Ukraine and Poland from 10:00 June 4 through afternoon June 6.
Farmers plan to conduct a blockade protest at the Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne Border Crossing between Ukraine and Poland from 10:00 June 4 through the afternoon of June 6. Organizers say they will only allow 24 trucks from Poland into Ukraine per day and up to four cars carrying humanitarian cargo into Ukraine per hour; a complete stoppage is likely for crossings from Ukraine into Poland. Farmers had previously conducted sustained border blockades at numerous crossing points between Ukraine and Poland in the first few months of 2024; however, these demonstrations ended on April 29.
Border crossing disruptions are almost certain at Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne. Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the protest site. Confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers or frustrated motorists cannot be ruled out.
Reroute planned transport and shipments through other border crossings. Avoid the protest area. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
