Domestic flight disruptions are occurring in French Polynesia amid an ongoing strike by unionized airport workers, as of July 24. The industrial action is causing cancellations to Air Tahiti (VT) and Air Moana (NM) flights via Bora Bora Airport (BOB), Faa'a International Airport (PPT), Raiatea Airport (RFP), and Rangiroa Airport (RGI), affecting thousands of passengers; international flights are exempt from strike-related disruptions. Limited ferry services are available to other airports although increased demand is affecting availability.
