Officials will likely maintain heightened security in Pakur, Jharkhand State, through at least early July after a clash between two rival groups over a land dispute on July 4. At least six people were injured in the confrontation. Police are investigating.

Localized transport disruptions are possible, including on the 133A highway. Additional clashes between rival groups and/or with authorities cannot be ruled out.
