Informational

Water disruptions will occur in several parts of New Delhi from 09:00-21:00 July 18 due to maintenance work on a valve near Radisson Blu Hotel. Utility provider Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has indicated that the repairs will impact several areas, including Archana Apartment, Ambica Vihar, Bhera Enclave, G Block Pushkar Enclave, GH-4 DDA Flats, GH-5 and 7 to GH-14, Guru Harkishan Nagar, Jwalapuri, Meera Bagh Block B, Meera Bagh JJC Paschim Vihar, Miyanwali Nagar, Peeragarhi, RBI Colony, Shubham Enclave, State Bank Nagar Outer Ring Road, Sundar Vihar, and Syed Nangloi Village. Some surrounding regions could experience low water pressure.

Water outages can cause business disruptions, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water for their operations.

Stock up on drinking water and confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes. Pressure and water quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Minimize nonessential water use for the duration of the disruptions.
