UK: Special assistant ground staff suspend strike at London Gatwick Airport planned for July 12-14 /update 2

Unionized special assistant ground staff have suspended a strike at London Gatwick Airport (LGW) scheduled for July 12-14. The workers have also called off a work stoppage planned for July 19-21 as they ballot on an improved pay offer. Additional strike action is possible if the 200 employees of Wilson James, who provide special assistance to passengers requiring additional support, reject the offer.
