Warning

Flight disruptions are likely to persist at Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) through at least late September amid continued regional tensions. Below are selected airlines that have suspended flights as of Aug. 25.

  • Air India (AI)

  • American Airlines (AA)

  • Brussels Airlines (SN)

  • Delta (DL)

  • Lufthansa (LH)

  • Ryanair (FR)

  • United Airlines (UA)

Suspensions range from a few days to several months and are continuously being reviewed and updated. In addition, airlines could temporarily suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv in response to developments. For example, numerous airlines suspended or canceled flights on Aug. 25 in response to a flare-up in cross-border violence that led to the temporary closure of TLV.

Reconfirm all flights scheduled through TLV through late September. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Plan for short-term disruptions or cancellations. Review contingency plans. Maintain contact with diplomatic representatives. Consider avoiding nonessential travel to Israel until the situation stabilizes.
