Belgium: Automotive workers to stage protest march in central Brussels on Sept. 16

Workers in the automotive sector and other related industries affiliated with several major labor organizations will stage a protest march in central Brussels on Sept. 16. The action in an expansion of an ongoing series of protests against the closure of the Audi Brussels car factory. Participants will gather at Brussels-North Railway Station at 10:30 before marching to Luxembourg Square for a rally.

Increased security and localized transport disruptions are likely along the march route. Rail disruptions at Brussels-North Station cannot be ruled out.
