Authorities are responding to a bomb threat in the Port of Piraeus, as of Sept. 12. Officials issued the first warning in the early morning and deployed bomb disposal teams to the E8 Gate area of the port. Emergency response operations are ongoing as of early afternoon. Authorities have closed roads in the vicinity. It is not known how long the operation will continue.
