The Al-Houthis reportedly fired at least one missile toward Tel Aviv and the Central District the morning of Sept. 15. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that it shot down the missile, but pieces of shrapnel fell near Gezer and Modiin, wounding at least five people who were evacuating to bomb shelters.
Heightened security and disruptions to transport and business are likely in the affected area over the coming hours. Further crossborder violence is possible over the coming hours and days.
