The Tunisian Network of Rights and Freedoms has called for a protest march in Tunis on Sept. 13 to 'defend the rule of law and political and civil rights.' Participants will rally from 17:00 in Republic Square before marching towards Habib Bourguiba Avenue. Dozens to a hundred individuals could attend the demonstration.
Increased security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the rally sites and march route. Clashes between police and protesters cannot be ruled out, particularly if demonstrators are overly disruptive or if they ignore police orders to disperse.
