Most of the demonstrations will probably involve hundreds of people; more than 1,000 people may participate in the largest protests. Heightened security and transport disruptions will likely affect areas that are subject to protest activity. Demonstrators may attempt to block roads and disrupt the operations of nearby businesses. Counterdemonstrations are possible and may materialize on short notice. Clashes between protesters and police or ideologically opposed individuals cannot be ruled out.
Avoid all demonstrations as a precaution. Exercise increased vigilance if operating in an area that is subject to protest activity. Immediately depart the area at the first sign of any security disturbance. Plan accordingly for localized transport delays. Consider taking alternative routes to circumvent any related disruptions. Adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
