Protests started at the Washington Metropolitan Police Department 7th District building at James M. McGree Jr. and Alabama Ave. SE earlier in the evening; the Metropolitan Police reported that activists began throwing rocks and bottles at officers at approximately 20:05, leading to crowd dispersal operations and the arrest of at least three protesters.
