Police have arrested a suspect who hijacked a bus at gunpoint in Los Angeles on early Sept. 25. The suspect reportedly entered the bus with a driver and two passengers near the intersection of South Figueroa Street and Manchester Avenue and hijacked the vehicle, leading to a police chase. The bus was stopped and surrounded by officers near the intersection of 6th Street and South Alameda Street after officials deployed a spike strip. One of the passengers was found inside the bus with several gunshot wounds and was later confirmed dead. No other casualties were reported. The motive for the incident remains unclear.
