Casualty figures climb to 67 following drone attack in Binyamina, Israel, as of late Oct. 13. Increased security, further attacks likely.

Critical

As of late Oct. 13, casualty figures have reportedly risen to at least 67 wounded following a drone attack in the Binyamina area. Reports indicate that Lebanese Hizballah (LH) targeted an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Golani Brigade base with drones. While Israeli officials have not provided details on those killed in the strike, reports suggest that at least three IDF fatalities have occurred. Authorities are expected to update casualty figures in the coming hours as response operations continue.

Additional drone and projectile attacks are likely amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran-backed Shi'a militias in the region. Projectile fire and drone attacks could result in short-term disruptions and heightened security measures in impacted locations.

Avoid the vicinity of the affected location until authorities have completely secured the area and given the all-clear. Heed the instructions of local security personnel. If incoming fire is reported in the general vicinity, stay indoors, away from windows and exterior walls. If possible, move to the ground floor or basement. Maintain contact with your country's diplomatic mission.
