The fire has reportedly affected several commercial buildings on the 1700 block of Empire Central Drive, near Harry Hines Boulevard and Mockingbird Lane, south of the Love Field area. Localized power outages in the area have also affected around 200 homes, although it remains unclear if this was caused by the fire. The cause of the blaze is currently unclear. There are no immediate reports of casualties. No disruptions have been reported at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL).
