Members of numerous unions and organizations are protesting in different locations of La Paz on the morning of Nov. 21 over economic issues. Demonstrators have been marching along Avenida 16 de Julio and Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz in the city's downtown area. The marches are expected to converge in Plaza del Obelisco where activists will hold a rally.
