The Muslim group Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 plans to hold its annual reunion at the National Monument (MONAS) in Jakarta 02:00-08:00 Dec. 2. President Prabowo Subianto, state officials, leaders of civil organizations, and prominent clerics are among the invitees. Organizers claim at least 15,000 members will participate.
Heightened security measures are likely in and around the rally venue, including additional personnel deployment, cordons, road closures, and traffic diversions. Localized transport disruptions are probable, especially if activists march on or block nearby roadways. Public transport services and access routes connecting to the event site will likely face increased congestion. Scuffles are possible, particularly if participants defy any security restrictions.
