Flight operations resume at Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Dec. 29 following an earlier aircraft incident.
Flight operations have resumed at Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) in Halifax, Nova Scotia Province, on Dec. 29 after an earlier aircraft incident. An Air Canada (AC) Express flight 2259, operated by Pal Airlines (PB), experienced an incident upon landing late Dec. 28. The aircraft skidded on the runway and caught fire. There were no casualties. The airport was briefly closed in response.
Confirm flight reservations if you are scheduled to arrive via YHZ through at least the evening of Dec. 29.
