  • 11:00-15:30 Dec. 3: Dakshin Marg at Airport light point, Hallo Majra light point, Poultry Farm Chowk, Tribune Chowk, Iron Market light point, Gurudwara Chowk, New Labour Chowk, Sarovar Path at Old Labour Chowk, AP Chowk, Hira Singh Chowk, Vigyab Path, New Barricade Chowk and PEC light point.

Authorities have deployed 4,000 personnel; 18 additional outer checkpoints have been placed across Chandigarh's entry and exit points. Security personnel may randomly check motorists and pedestrians nearby event venues for weapons and explosives. Additional security measures, including sniffer dogs, no-fly zones, and enhanced surveillance systems, will likely be implemented. Localized transport disruptions will likely occur as police ensure vehicular inspections are done. Associated business disruptions are possible.

Demonstrations against Modi and Amit Shah's arrival are possible. Potential protest sites include outside public squares, government buildings, and thoroughfares. Authorities will likely monitor such events and disperse any disruptive crowds. Clashes between police and demonstrators cannot be ruled out.

Exercise caution near official event sites. As a standard precaution, avoid any demonstration that materializes. Depart the area at the first sign of any security disturbance. Allow additional time to reach destinations near demonstration sites and areas where traffic advisories are in force. Plan accordingly for possible flight disruptions at IXC Dec. 2-3. Carry proper identification documents at all times. Heed all official transport and security advisories.
