The Jamaat-e-Islami party plans to protest across Karachi, Sindh Province, from 16:00 Dec. 21 over water supply shortages. Rallies will occur at 15 sites, including Fresco Chowk along Burns Road, Johar Mor Bridge, Korangi Crossing, Nazimabad Bus Stop No. 7, No. 5 Chowrangi Bus Stop in Orangi Town's Sector 12, Power House Chowrangi Station, Star Gate Bus Stop along Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shershah Bus Stop, Water Pump Flyover along Shahrah-e-Pakistan, as well as along Hub River Road, Kala Pull Road, M-9 motorway (Super Highway), and National Highway 5. A few hundred participants may gather at each venue, and they will likely march along or block roads.
Additional unannounced rallies are possible. Potential gathering sites include utility provider offices, government buildings, press clubs, public squares, and thoroughfares.
