As of late Dec. 30, emergency crews are responding to a fire that broke out in a diesel fuel pipeline near Teakwood Road in the Jacobs area of Durban; the cause of the blaze remains unclear. Reports indicate the fire has gotten out of control as it is being fed by diesel in the pipe. There have been no reports of injuries in connection to the blaze, and authorities have asked local residents and businesses to be evacuated out of an abundance of caution.
