A security operation is underway in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province as of Jan. 10. Authorities are attempting to rescue civilian workers of a state-linked company kidnapped in the Kabal Khel area by suspected militants affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Jan. 9. Security personnel have recovered eight out of 17 victims as of the morning of Jan. 10.
